Victoria Beckham shows off post-pregnancy figure in sleek bandage dress

We've seen a lot of Victoria Beckham with Harper Seven recently, (mainly watching Dad David play football), but it's been a while since we've spotted her out and about at fashion parties. So it came as a surprise to see VB showing off her super svelte figure yesterday, at WWD's CEO Summit in New York.

So what do you wear to a party with the fashion pack when you've just had a baby? Well if you're Mrs. Beckham, a figure-hugging bandage dress is the obvious choice.

She opted for a black and navy design from her Spring/Summer 2012 collection, teamed with the Christian Louboutin shoe/boot design that was shown at the same catwalk show.

If we're honest, we aren't fans of shoes that make feet look like hooves (even if they are Louboutins), but there's no denying that VB looked super sleek in the strapless number last night.

Let us know how you rate her latest ensemble and see how her look has changed in her style evolution below.

Vintage blouse, Bird by Juicy Couture blazer, Moorea Seal chevron necklace, thrifted Jordache jeans, Aldo heels, Rebecca Minkoff Covet satchel, thrifted piece of fabric that is now a scarf

I know it's fall now that I've thrown on this amazing Bird blazer again. I think this month marks my one-year anniversary with it in my closet, and it has remained an absolute staple. I paired it up with some awesome patterns, including this scarf that is actually just a huge square of fabric I found in a thrift bin, can't complain! I love the dusty colors, so expect to be seeing it a lot on here from now on!

I was generously gifted this triple chevron necklace from Moorea whose work I've known about for a while. Her designs always balance the right amount of edge with geometry and earthy elements. I love Chevron triangles, you see them throughout history in architecture all over the world, so to be able to don them is really cool! Along with my fuchsia lips, it was a great finishing touch as I walked out the door to enjoy the day.

Red Carpet Gown Luxuries

Meryl Streep to wear Andrew GN Fall 2010

The first thing I said when I saw Laura’s wish was “Oooohhhh”, because I would LOVE to see this look on Meryl Streep.
Laura said, “I’d like to see Meryl Streep in this Andrew Gn dress. I know we don’t see her on the carpet a lot, but when we do she’s classy, elegant and never looks likes she’s trying too hard.”
“I think the colout of this Andrew Gn dress would be stunning on Meryl. Plus, long sleeves totally work for her. And the detail on the waist gives the dress an interesting aspect without going over the top.”
I agree the colour and the silhouette would make this a perfect look for Meryl.

They say, "Fashion repeats itself every fifteen years" Here is some proof...

If you grew up in the 1960's, chances are you're actually just as fashion-savvy today as you were then. Aside from things like jeans that showcase boxers rather than hiding them and velour sweatpants with bedazzled adjectives across the rear, today's taste makers have been embracing the diverse style trends originally made by the Post50 group. Things that are now en vogue are merely reinterpretations (or less-worthy imitations?) of the sartorial past.
Click through our slideshow of closet comebacks and recycled style that prove "everything old is new again", and perhaps more importantly, "If it ain't broke, don't fix it."

Italian label Missoni's limited edition line for Target drew inspiration from the 1960's, focusing on mismatching the brand's signature geometric pattern and bold colors. The line was clearly a hit, as items sold out quickly after the launch and the demand even crashed Target's website.
