A Gap Guru's Brooklyn Pad! Peek-a-Bo!

In the living room, Jane wears an Ann Demeulemeester shirt, Topshop pants, vintage sandals, and Jody Candrian cuff. The bookshelf was a Christmas present that her fiancĂ© Justin built for her.

Jane's bedside table is made from mirrored boxes, books, and a piece of old decking that she found on the sidewalk. She bought the painting in Stockholm when she went there doing a story on Acne for Vogue. The Gemini figurines––she and her fiancĂ© are both Geminis––are from John Derian.

Winter to Spring Your Wardrobe...Like This...

Style Guide: Winter to Spring Transition
Time for Spring… well maybe not outside, but certainly in my closet!
With Spring around the corner, or in about three weeks according to Mr. Groundhog (although I highly doubt it), I can’t stop obsessing about my new Spring wardrobe. My only problem is that every time I steal a look at my new Spring purchases, I get a pang of longing, a premature desire to parade around wearing my Spring purchases way before it would be temporally appropriate to do so. The very thought caused me to consider postponing any further additions to my Spring clothing portfolio until — heaven’s no — Spring!!
Not!!! Rather than declare a cease fire on shopping — something which is frankly against my religion — why not bring some Spring into my Winter wardrobe? The key to wearing Spring items in the Winter is layering—cardigans, blazers, stockings, and socks are your best friends! Add more and more till you have that Winter clothing warmth with that new Spring style! But be mindful that you don’t layer to the point that you appear larger than you are!
So how do you get a Spr-inter (Spring + Winter = Spr-inter, if you need to ask) wardrobe? Check below for some awesome Spring fashions and learn how you can wear them now!
BRIGHTS: Bright colored everything: pants, shorts, tops, dresses, skirts etc were all over the Spring runways. Trade in your dark colored winter pants for bright ones like this red style! Pair the pants with a chunky sweater or a blazer to wear in the cold. Come Spring, shed those layers pair these fab pants with a cute light colored blouse and sandals!
FLORALS: Surprise, surprise florals are very in for Spring—who would have thought? Don’t get me wrong I do love me some florals and pairing a cute semi sheer crewneck sweater with a long flowy floral dress, tights, and boots makes for a super cute Spr-inter look!
WHITE: Ditch that little lbd, for a little lwd! Although I have had enough of this white snow winter, this is the type of white winter I could get used to! This white dress would be a great addition to your wardrobe now if you pair it with dark tights and heels! Besides from being white, this dress also has crochet shoulders a big spring trend, making this a spring must have!
MIDI SKIRT: When you think Spring normally you think warmer weather, less clothes, and shorter hemlines, but not this Spring season! For this Spring midi is the new mini! A midi skirt like this Topshop Waterfall Calf Skirt is great to wear now with a cute chunky sweater, tights, and a stacked heel!
WEDGES: I love love love wedges and this Spring a laced up wedge is a must! To wear wedges like these now pair the wedges with some fun tights or better yet some funky patterned socks to add a bit more of pizzaz to your look!

MENSWEAR INSPIRED: This dress is a great addition to your Spring and Winter wardrobe. Menswear inspired items and stripes are both two big spring trends. Wear this dress now with dark tights and combat boots!

More Rachel Zoe and the Who's Who of Stylists' List!!!

We all know that celebrities aren't really just like us. If they have a bad hair day someone always lets them know and fixes the bed head. If they're feeling a little bloaty, their personal pilates instructor is there to twist and turn the puff away. And if they have no idea what to wear, they call Rachel Zoe, or one of the other 24 names on The Hollywood Reporter's list of top 25 stylists in tinseltown, of which Zoe is number one (and appears a la Demi Moore holding her prego belly on the cover). Zoe is a household name to most of us, since in addition to styling stars like Anne Hathaway, Jennifer Garner and Kate Hudson (at $10,000 a gig!), she has become a reality television queen herself.

We all know the Zoe, but we aren't as familiar with the other names on the list. Here's a peak at some of the top 25.

2. Kate Young -- This Vogue alum has styled ad campaigns for Sisley, Theory and Carolina Herrera as well as celebrities clients like Natalie Portman, Rachel Weisz and Diane Kruger.

4. Jen Rade -- You know you have range when you've dressed Angelina Jolie and Marilyn Manson. In between celebrity styling gigs Rade starred on the MTV primetime series "Styl'D".

10. Jeanne Yang -- She's the other half of Holmes Yang, the design team that includes Tom Cruise's famous wife Katie.

13. L'Wren Scott -- This designer/stylist is also best known for being very, very tall and Mick Jagger's girlfriend.

16. Maryann Malakpour -- She styles Courtney Cox, Heidi Klum and the Rolling Stones. Is it weird that Mick didn't just ask his girlfriend to do that job?

21. Annabel Tollman -- She's the woman responsible for Scarlett Johansson's transition from frumpy to fabulous.

22. Brad Goreski -- Sure he styles Jessica Alba and she always looks great, but you probably know him best as Rachel Zoe's former assistant.

25. Simone Harouche -- Because it all goes back to Zoe, Harouche took on Nicole Richie after she split from the super stylist and turned her from waif to earth mother.

For the entire list head over to The Hollywood Reporter.
